I heart the rain! I love the gray sky, the crispness in the air, the sound of raindrops and most importantly, the excuse for not having done anything all day! I admit, I get tired of the sunshine. I need a change from all this mild temperature and blue skies (Yes, I live in LA and the Jersey girl in me is slightly annoyed with myself for writing that). Alas, rain makes me happy! So does using the word “alas”, whether correctly or incorrectly!
